 The last few weeks have been a whirlwind. I have felt like I have been running a marathon and I am just now trying to catch my breath. These weeks have included finishing my second degree, a dance performance, meeting our new nephew, a business trip to New York and family vacation.

 In the last week and a half, Philip and I have traveled over 1,800 miles. Since we have been married (just under 9 months), we have been to 11 states and 2 countries. Our latest adventures took us to North Carolina to see my wonderful cousins Glamorie, Kip, Rick, Kason and Kaya and my Titi (Aunt) Fefy.
 Philip and I decided to go to St. Louis last weekend on a quick, last minute, and I mean - book everything Thursday night at midnight, last minute - trip. We quickly packed after getting home from work on Friday and headed out. It was only about a 4 hour road trip, but it felt like we went a world away. My parents lived in St. Louis for a few months, so they were helpful in discovering all the hidden gems of the city. We also utilized groupon.com to find a few last minute deals. (And we found some great ones!)
